we go all tomatoes tonight
Finally the first tomatoes of the year are ready to eat!
Tonight we went all in for tomatoes. First a colourful Insalata Caprese with mozzarella di bufala, topped with Spanish chervil, fennel dill, oxalis and herb oil.
It was as good tasting as looking! After that we had gnocchi di patate with a lovely tomato sauce made from last year’s tomatoes. Everything comes from our garden, except the pasta and cheese.
I feel wealthy (and full)!
