I have two quite young vines in the garden, one variety is called Himrod and the other Solaris. It’s only the Solaris plant that has given fruit this year, but I was happy with the amount!

Did you know that grapes are one of the fruits (and vegetables) with the highest amount of pesticide residues? For me this is one of the key motivations for growing my own food, to know that what we eat is healthy and clean.

Homegrown fruits and vegetables not only taste better but also are healthier when you grow them in a natural, organic way. I love being part of the entire journey, from seed to plate, and to know exactly how the soil has been prepared and how the plants have been cared for without any use of chemicals.
