a quick tomato tarte with cream cheese and my homegrown colourful tomatoes.

Before I went to Stockholm I harvested some tomatoes. Most of them went into a jar to be stored. Nothing beats the taste of summer later this fall.

Some of the tomatoes were used for a quick tomato tarte. I used readymade puff pastry, pricked the dough with a fork in the center where the tomatoes should go, spread a layer of cream cheese and then slices of tomatoes in various colours and sizes. Bake at 225 degrees Celsius until ready. Super quick and delicious!
