broad beans!

How I long for the first tender beans, to eat raw with some pecorino cheese and a glass of red wine. Like a piece of Tuscany in Skåne!

Now the first round of broad beans has started to blossom!

We love broad beans and usually grow a lot of them. I sow them several times over the season, starting early (sometime in March) and until late July/early August. In this way we will have beans to harvest over a longer time.
