Dahlia, Cosmos, Nasturtium and Fennel flowers in a lovely combination.
Dahlias Labyrinth and Café au lait, Cosmos Candy Stripe and pale yellow Nasturtiums. I love to grow edible flowers and many of these flowers you will also see on my plates. Nasturtium flowers and leaves have a nice peppery taste. The fennel flowers we eat in all stages, both as flowers and seeds and have a distinct flavour of liquorice.
Actually even the dahlias are edible, both the flowers and the tubers. But I really love the flowers and keep the tubers from year to year.
